"Creating a Broadcast" is our terminology for sending a message to your people. It is effortless where you choose a title, decide what content you want to include, and specify who should receive it. You can also preview how it will look on mobile, save it for later, share it with others for input, or discard it if you change your mind. This is a basic but essential step in managing communication, especially when you have important information to share with a specific audience.
Depending on the type of communication, the Team Admin or Global User has many broadcast cards at the bottom of the screen. There are many different types and further documentation on each can be viewed at the below links:
1. Click "Create broadcast" from the Home Page, this allows you to quickly jump into creating a broadcast
2. Click Broadcasts on your Admin menu and this will bring you to your Broadcasts Reporting Page
3. From this page Click "Create" to create a new Broadcast
4. Click here to add a title to your Broadcast
5. Click this icon to select the Category you'd like to assign.
💡: The system will automatically default to "Content" if an "Events card" is not used.
The system will automatically default to "Events" if an "Events card" is used.
6. Click "Send preview" to send yourself a preview of the Broadcast to the Mobile App for your viewing
7. Click this icon to "Share" the Draft you are currently working on
⚠️: You can "Share" Broadcasts with Global, Team, and Broadcast Admins.
For Team and Broadcast Admins, you will have to be a part of the same Team to share the Broadcast with them.
8. Click this icon to "Save" your Broadcast. All "Saved" Broadcasts will be stored in your Drafts section.
⚠️: If your Broadcast has any errors you will not be able to Share or Save them until those errors have been fixed
9. Click "Discard changes" to leave your Broadcast without saving it
10. Click "Add content" to bring up the Card display
⚠️: Stacks are limited to a maximum of 30 cards.
11. From here select which Card/s you'd like to Add to your Broadcast
12. Click this Icon to "Copy" the Card you are working on
13. Click this Icon to "Delete" the current Card you are working on
14. Click "Continue" to "Define audience" with the Audience Builder
