Learn how to successfully link and configure your ADP integration within the OurPeople platform. This guide walks you through the setup process, including token verification, sync settings, and custom tag mapping to streamline your data management.
Add the ADP Integration in OurPeople
Tip: OurPeople has built in integrations connect to the following versions of ADP:
Canada OurPeople Connector for ADP Workforce Now®
1. As a Global Admin log in then Click "Settings"
2. Click "Integrations"
3. Click this Add.
4. Click "Add" next to the version of ADP you use
5. Click "Continue"
Authorize ADP
6. Click "Visit ADP Store"
7. Click "Buy Now"
8. Click "Enter info"
9. Enter the verification token from OurPeople in the "Verification Token" field.
10. Click "Save Details"
11. Click "Next", then checkout and approve access to OurPeople.
Start 1st sync in OurPeople
12. Click "Sync"
13. Click this Fresh sync box.
14. Click "Sync"
Setting up ADP fields to OurPeople tags
15. Click "Configure"
16. Click "Tag Mappings" drop downs and set to the Team, Job Title, etc.
17. Click "Save"
Create Decision Rules
Tip: By default all employees and mapped fields sync, however you can add rules to only allow specific people with specific tags, or specific tags by following this section. If you don't need to limit people, you are done with your ADP Connection!
18. Click the number shown
19. Click "1 active decision rules"
20. Click "Add"
21. Click "People with tags"
22. Click here to filter to people with specific tags to auto-add and sync
Tip: Repeat for tags if needed otherwise you are done!
