Text Message Notification Information

Text messages are limited to 389 characters. You can string up to 3 text messages together for a longer text message. You will be shown the number of text credits being used per recipient if your subscription includes text message credits.

1. When you are ready to confirm the notifications to deliver your Broadcast, you can now use our additional Place Holder options in the text message you are sending to your employees.

2. Select 'Edit' under the Text Message Preview

3. Then select the 'Add Placeholder' dropdown

4. From here you can now select from the below options:

• Recipient First Name
  • This will auto fill the first name of the user receiving the text notification
• Recipient Full Name
  • This will auto fill the first and last name of the user receiving the text notification
• Link to message
  • This is automatically included in all text messages, it provides a direct link to the Broadcast in OurPeople
• Publisher First Name
  • This will auto fill the first name of the sender of the Broadcast
• Publisher Full Name
  • This will auto fill the first and last name of the sender of the Broadcast
• Space Name
  • This will auto fill the name of your company (i.e. ACME Inc.)

5. When you have added the necessary placeholders, select 'Submit' and complete the Broadcast creation process as normal.
