This guide explains Access levels, key terms, and account status which provides step-by-step instructions on how to invite a person to OurPeople. It shows you what information is required from the person to create their Account and Profile.

Key Terms
Person: an employee or person using OurPeople
Account: The page that houses a person's data ie. name, phone number, email, tags
Profile: a combination of tags associated with an account
Account Status
Active - The person has been using OurPeople so their account is 'active'.
Inactive - The person has not been on OurPeople in 120 days or more so their account is 'inactive'. Check with them and be sure they can login ok. They still get your text and email broadcasts.
Invited - The person has been sent an invite (text or email) to OurPeople but has not yet activated their account. They still get your text and email broadcasts.
Not invited - The person has an account but has not been sent the welcome invite. They still get your text and email broadcasts.
Frozen - The person's account has been deactivated (frozen) by a Global User or Team Admin. When a person's account is 'frozen', admins will still be able to view their messages and see broadcasts, or events they have created. Accounts which are frozen, will NOT be able to access OurPeople until they are unfrozen.
Inviting a Person
- Navigate to the 'Web App'
- Click 'People'
- Click "Add people"
- Fill out the Person's Information.
- Click "Add profile" in the Profiles field.
- Click the "Select teams" field.
- Click the "Select job titles" field.
- Click the "Select skills" field.
- Assign the Person's Account with an 'Access level'.
- Ensure Team Admins' and 'Broadcast Admins' have the teams they need to administer at selected here.
- Click save.
