Alert: There are variable levels of chat access that can be adjusted by your Customer Success Manager. The settings are as follows:
No Restrictions: Anyone can chat with users regardless of what team or access level they have been assigned.
Team Only: This allows for users on the same team to chat with each other, but no one outside of their team.
Team Admin Only: This allows users to chat with the Team Admin or Global Admin on their team, but no one else.
Fully Restricted: Let your CSM know if you want chat disabled completely
1. Navigate to the web app: [companyname].ourpeople.com
2. Click "Chat"
3. Click the chat you want to edit the settings of.
4. Click the title of the group chat.
5. Click "Edit group details" to change the name of the group chat.
6. Click the person icon to leave the chat.
7. Click "hide chat" to hide the chat from your list of chats without leaving the chat.
8. Click "mute notifications" to disable push notifications for this chat.
9. Click here to delete the chat.
10. Click here to add new members to the chat.
