Cover Requests streamline the process of seeking and managing future coverage gaps. Users can create Cover Requests with specific details, such as job titles or skills needed, and send them to a targeted audience. Recipients can easily respond, and Admins have the flexibility to cancel or assign cover requests efficiently, making event management seamless and collaborative through the app.
Steps to Request and Assign Cover:
- Tap "Events" to navigate to event management.
- Create an event by tapping the "+" symbol, choosing from Cover, Training, or Meeting.
- Input event details, including title, start time, end time, and location.
- For Cover Requests, add a comment to provide more context.
- Select a title for the Cover Request, choosing from Job Titles or Skills.
- Specify the date, time, and location for the cover.
- Leave a comment explaining the need for cover or offering incentives.
- Build your audience by choosing recipients based on departments, job titles, skills, or individuals.
- For team admins, access teams to send to, and for broader filtering, use the back button.
- Optionally send a push notification with the event.
- Tap "Send" to deliver the event card.
- Manage the event: Users can "Request" or "Decline" cover events, and "Attend" or "Decline" training/meeting events.
- Admins can "Cancel Request" from both the Home and Events tabs.
- Confirm the cancellation by tapping "Cancel."
- To assign a Cover Request, go to the Events section, select the request, choose a user, and confirm with "Assign."
Events rely on Timezones for accurate time. If your device or yourself is in a different timezone please be aware of that before sending any of the Event Cards. They will reflect the current Timezone you are in or the Timezone your device has in its Settings, NOT the one assigned to the Account.
