This article will break down how to fill out the People tab of the importer. This will go over in detail our format for uploading your People.

This portion of the import is where you will input your peoples' information and use your tag structure to help complete the process. The Excel Spreadsheet links your Step 1 Tag Structure to the Step 2 User Import sheet. This will help to ensure a smooth process and give you a convenient drop-down to select from.
When inputting this information you'll have a description of Roles when you click on the empty box under roles.

How to fill out your Import
When Filling out the Data Import Spreadsheet you'll start with Inputting your employee information.
It is important to make sure you have an up-to-date Mobile Phone number and Email.
This is how we reach out to your team to make sure they are invited properly and this is how they log in to OurPeople.
Assign the Role for the team member and input which Team or Teams they belong to
Add the Job Title or Titles for the team member.
Add Skills as well if you used skills when creating your structure.
If you gave a person the Role of Team Admin or Broadcast Admin you need to assign the Team they will be allowed to Administer.
How to upload to OurPeople (Visual)
Select Import People:
Upload your Excel spreadsheet:
Once you are in the system it will show you how the system is mapping your columns.
The Review portion will alert you if your data has any errors
The Summary will give you a more detailed breakdown of the Import and if they are allowed to Administrate a team. If while reviewing this import you want to make changes, remember to use the Excel Spreadsheet to make the changes then Re-upload.
Once everything looks correct you 'Start import' to finish the process.
