To request and assign cover, a user needs to have one of the following access levels: Global Admin, Team Admin, or a Cover Sender/Assigner. NB- app users cannot send cover.
Only Cover Assigners or higher-level admins can see who has requested cover.
To request cover:
STEP 1: Tap the "Events" icon from the bottom navigation bar
STEP 2: Tap the Pink tick button and Select "Cover"
NOTE: If you do not have ADMIN level access, you will only see "Cover" as an option
STEP 3: Enter the information for the coverage needed. i.e. Type of coverage, date, time, and location
NOTE: Take your time! You will not be able to edit the broadcast once it has been sent!
STEP 4: Select the recipients to receive the broadcast using tags. You have the choice of sending the broadcast without notifications using the toggle button.
STEP 5: Tap Send to send your cover request!
When your request gets sent out, you will receive a notification when someone requests to cover your shift.
Note: You will only be able to assign this shift to the requester if you are a Cover Assigner, otherwise it will be up to your manager/team admin to assign.
